NHS Historic Wall

The Historic Wall project was developed to promote the advances in modern medicine made within NHS Glasgow over the decades.

This permanent exhibition covered the mass TB screening undertaken in 1957, the development of the Glasgow Coma Scale and invention of Medical Ultrasound among other pioneering medical breakthroughs. All developed in Glasgow and still in worldwide use to this day.
